As you can see here, we made it safely and the pictures that follow show some of our house all set up. I was able to unpack all the major boxes and stuff the Friday after we got there (about 5 days). I really hate to have boxes around and wonder where everything is day after day, so I was motivated to get it done fast! It did help of course to have my parents here for four days, so that was great! Thanks Mom & Dad!
It is nice to have much more room now and find a place for everything to go without feeling super cramped! My china hutch has china in it now again for instance instead of homeschooling stuff! Our living room is no longer another toy room (double yeah!) and we have a dedicated room for toys and the other half is for homeschool stuff!
The kitchen is really cute albeit a little smaller I think than our previous one. It has some neat perks thought like MUCH deeper sinks, a pop-out drawer near the sink for sponges and things, and of course the cute trim and colors is a big plus too!
Our bedroom is not just a bedroom and not an office as well (triple yeah!) It makes it much easier to keep it clean when all that is in here pretty much are clothes!
We live on at the intersection of two streets that end in this little cul de sac, so it is a nice place for the kids to ride their bikes/trikes/scooters. Yesterday, we met a little boy who lives down the road who is Josiah's age who came riding by on his electric scooter. It has been super sunny and nice since we have been here and it has been fun to enjoy some summer weather! We have been exploring various parks in the area and have been catching up with friends as well. It is nice to live less than 5 minutes from our church now too!
